About Laurel Green, PMHNP-BC

Laurel Green, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specializing in behavioral health and psychotherapy and pediatrics and adolescent medicine at Advanced Pediatrics.

Since opening its doors in 2001, the private pediatric practice has earned an exemplary reputation for excellence in pediatric care in Vienna, Virginia, and throughout the National Capital Region.

Laurel Green obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Johns Hopkins University and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Wilkes University. She is currently a psychiatric nurse practitioner and has dedicated 15 years to working in mental health, including both inpatient and outpatient settings with adolescents. Her professional interests focus on medication management for anxiety and depression and teaching coping skills for stress and substance abuse.

Laurel lives in Annandale, Virginia, with her husband and daughter. In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, attending musicals, and spending quality time with family.
