Is your child feeling under the weather? Our drive-up clinic offers a convenient option for established Advanced Pediatrics patients who need care for an acute illness.
Who can use the drive-up clinic?
● Established Advanced Pediatrics patients ages 3 months and older. ● Children with acute illnesses or symptoms that need evaluation. ● Families who are able to come during our drive-up clinic hours.

Symptom Checker

Have Questions About Your Child's Symptoms?
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) offers a free online symptom checker to help parents explore common childhood symptoms and learn what to consider when deciding on next steps.
Use this tool as a starting point when you have questions about your child's symptoms. It can help you organize your concerns and decide what questions to ask your child's healthcare provider.
Every child and situation is different. The symptom checker does not replace a medical evaluation or advice from your child's healthcare team. If you are concerned about your child's condition, contact Advanced Pediatrics for guidance.

Emergency Guidance

When to Seek Emergency Care
If your child is experiencing a medical emergency, do not wait for an appointment or a callback from our office.
Call 911 or seek immediate emergency care for severe symptoms such as:   ● Difficulty breathing or severe shortness of breath.   ● Loss of consciousness or inability to wake your child.   ● Severe bleeding that cannot be controlled.   ● Other symptoms that appear immediately life-threatening.
If you are unsure how urgently your child needs care, call our 24/7 advice nurse line at 703-938-5555, option 1, provided your child is not experiencing an emergency.
This information is not a complete list of emergencies. When in doubt about an immediately life-threatening condition, call 911.
